The Future

Preston’s 2009 preschool class photo. Somebody looks guilty of something.
“Very Important Persons”
May 22, 2009 - The Anthony family got invited to a premiere of the Movie “Up” by Disney-Pixar in Concord, North Carolina. It was a very cool event sponsored by Aflac. There was a Carl Edwards show car and a red carpet. The theater was well decorated and the concessions were free to the attendees. And most importantly, the movie was pretty good and the kids had a great time.

St. Lucia

Connor’s photo from the 2009 YMCA Spring Soccer league. Team St. Lucia struggled all season long, failing to score in the first four games. However, Connor played very hard and put in maximum effort. Finally, the team scored in the fifth game, with Connor scoring the team’s second goal. They wrapped up the season winning the last game, which made Connor very happy.
Tonga
Evan’s photo from the 2009 YMCA Spring Soccer league. Team Tonga was very talented and played very well. Evan’s coach referred to Evan as the “rock star” of the team and complimented how he played calm and under control like a European player.

Don’t Pee on the Rug, Man
May 8, 2009 - Friends of the family Don and Sean got all spiffied up on a Friday night and headed down to a local alley for a good time at the 8th Annual Big Lebowski Fest. There were apparently lots of costumes and lots of no name role playing actors from the real movie. The boys (and Jen - Don’s soon-to-be-wife) also got in a few games while downing White Russians. Here’s a shot of Don posing with the Dude.
